Good luck to everyone receiving their GCSE results today!🤞🏻

It’s an exciting day and the start of the next chapter for many young people, whether that’s continuing education, starting an apprenticeship or taking those first steps into the workplace.

A special mention from all of us at Cheetah Marine to our two new apprentices, who joined the team at the beginning of August and are among those waiting for their results today.

Whatever the results, we’re delighted to have you both on board and look forward to seeing you develop your skills and careers with Cheetah Marine.

Meet the Team – Lee 👋

This week, we’re introducing Lee, our Production Manager at Cheetah Marine. 🚤

Lee has been part of the Cheetah team for 14 years, starting out in the workshop before progressing into his current role as Production Manager.

Day-to-day, Lee is the link between our design team and workshop, working closely with our engineers and laminators to ensure every stage of a build is completed to the right standard, on time and as efficiently as possible.

With 24 years of experience in the industry, Lee started his career as an apprentice — something that makes him particularly passionate about supporting and training the apprentices who join the Cheetah team today.

A big part of his role happens behind the scenes. While customers see the finished boat, Lee is coordinating the many different stages of production and making sure everything comes together at the right time, balancing quality, efficiency and deadlines throughout the build.

Outside of work, Lee enjoys taking his own boat out for sea fishing and walking his dog around the beautiful spots of the Isle of Wight. 🌊

We’re proud to have Lee’s experience and knowledge as part of the Cheetah Marine team!
