We’re looking forward to exhibiting at Seawork 2026, where we’ll be unveiling a new addition to the Cheetah Marine range, a 3.4m beam variant with a walkaround cabin!

As one of the key events in the commercial marine calendar, Seawork brings together operators, suppliers and marine professionals from across the UK and beyond, making it an important opportunity to share what we’ve been working on.

This latest vessel reflects the continued evolution of the Cheetah platform, combining practical offshore capability with increased versatility across a range of commercial applications.

Designed for demanding inshore and offshore operations, the build brings together the reliability and performance Cheetah Marine is known for, alongside a layout shaped around usability and operational flexibility.

Visitors to the stand will be able to take a closer look at the new model, speak with the team about the design and specification, and discuss how Cheetah vessels can support different operational requirements across the marine sector.

If you’re attending Seawork 2026, we’d love to see you there.

Cheetah Marine International Ltd has secured orders for three new-build fishing vessels, marking a positive step forward for the UK fishing industry following several challenging and quieter years 👏🏻

All three vessels will be built using Cheetah Marine’s proven 3.4m and 3.7m beam hull designs, both models well regarded for their stability, efficiency, and suitability for a wide range of inshore and offshore fishing operations 🎣

The new builds will be delivered to three different locations around the United Kingdom, reflecting continued nationwide demand for robust, purpose-built fishing vessels 🇬🇧

The contracts represent a welcome uplift in activity for the sector and reinforce confidence among fishermen who are once again investing in new tonnage. After a period of uncertainty and reduced spending across the industry, the latest orders suggest a growing sense of optimism and a willingness to plan for the future.

Bas Edmonds, Managing Director for Cheetah Marine International Ltd said:

“These new build contracts are an encouraging sign for both our business and the wider fishing industry. After a few years with minimal fishing boat orders, it’s positive to see renewed confidence from vessel owners who are choosing to invest in modern, efficient boats. We’re proud that our 3.4-metre and 3.7-metre beam designs continue to be trusted by fishermen operating in different parts of the UK.”

Construction of the vessels will take place at Cheetah Marine’s Ventnor facility on the Isle of Wight, supporting skilled local employment and continuing the company’s long-standing tradition of building working boats for the UK fishing fleet.

As the industry begins to look ahead with greater confidence, Cheetah Marine remains committed to delivering reliable, well-engineered vessels that meet the practical needs of fishermen while supporting the long-term resilience of the UK fishing sector.

We’re excited to show the full video of Neptune — the new Government-funded support boat recently delivered to the Marine Policing and Underwater Search team! 🚔

The new boat, named Neptune, is a significant upgrade to the Force’s current marine capability, offering an improved ability to respond to calls for service and patrol the coastline even in severe weather conditions.

Part of the Home Office’s programme to tackle serious organised crime, Neptune will enhance the Force’s response to maritime threats including drug smuggling and organised immigration crime, while also boosting coastal safety.

Inspector Ryan Northmore kindly shared his experience working with us:

“I’m absolutely delighted with the entire experience of purchasing our vessel from Cheetah International. The build process has been seamless, supported by excellent communication from start to finish.

The relationship we’ve built with the Cheetah team has been fantastic. They’ve maintained open and responsive communication throughout, no matter how big or small the query.

The build quality is exceptional, and their flexibility in accommodating changes during the process was greatly appreciated. The team went above and beyond in supporting us with the vessel registration also, offering valuable advice and assistance every step of the journey.

Nothing has ever been too much trouble for Bas and the team. Truly outstanding service.

I couldn’t recommend Cheetah International highly enough."
