NEW EXTENSIONS / DECORATION / LIME POINTING & STONE WORK - STRUCTURAL SPECIALISTS 2015 saw Henry Ingram & sons Ltd achieve 175 years trading in Ventnor, Isle of Wight. We are confident that we are one of the oldest established builders that are still trading on the island. From humble beginnings in 1840 when Henry Ingram started the business with himself and an apprentice, to a major expansion of

labour in the late 1860s. According to our records and the 1871 census showed a work force of over 90 men and 6 apprentices. This was due to Ingrams being the principle building contractor for the construction of the Royal National Hospital for the Treatment of TB. In recent times we have been involved in various notable projects such as the Earl Mountbatten Hospice and ITU Unit, St Marys and Ventnor Cricket Academy. Award winning works at Madeira Hall, Compton Undermount in Ventnor and Hose Rhodes Dickson, Ryde show the skill set of our tradesmen.
