This old system was very dated and did not have any RCD protection for any circuits. We installed a new 11 way consumer unit with surge protection and RCBO’s to provide the best protection for this installation!

New consumer unit fitted and re located to a new position ✅
Kitchen first fixed ✅
Hallway first fixed ✅
New faceplates fitted throughout ✅

Was always going to be a tricky job with moving a consumer unit, re supplying existing feeds and getting new supplies in for the kitchen in the time we had, but nevertheless we got it done! massive shoutout to for giving us a last minute hand on this job 💪🏻

A bit of a tidy up for these two rooms with a very simple but effective method!

We disconnected the old pendant lights in both rooms and installed 4 down lights to give off a much nicer light output rather than the old halogen lamps that were fitted. These LED lamps are 10x more efficient than halogen lamps, therefore meaning a lot more cheaper to run!

We gave this kitchen the modern look it desired by installing a few extra lighting designs, such as under unit LED strip lights and island pendants. These are not only cheap to run but they are very effective too!

A big couple of days on this job in Weymouth!

⚡️ Utility meter moved to a new position by the DNO
⚡️ Consumer unit moved to a new position
⚡️ All circuits extended
⚡️ 7.4kw Tethered EV charger installed
⚡️ fully tested and commissioned

This was not an easy as it sounds as the old cables to the consumer unit were wired under the floor so we had to join every cable. Then to get our new cables to the new position of the consumer unit we had to chase them into the wall and bring them up into the loft and over to the consumer unit.

🔋 A recent EV Charger installation 🔋

We tried to make this install look as neat as it possibly could, so therefore we installed a new consumer unit purely for the EV charger. This consumer unit consisted of a 32 Amp RCBO supplying the EV charger and a Type 2 Surge Protection kit to protect sensitive equipment within the installation. Finally we installed a 32 Amp rotary isolation switch in case of an Emergency.
