Watch through our modular school building project for Cranmore School!

Our comprehensive turnkey service seamlessly executed the removal of two Portakabin-style buildings and all necessary service connections.

The building is a two-storey science block comprising of eighteen modules, housing nine teaching areas alongside essential operational rooms. These areas feature:

- Four science laboratories
- One design technology classroom
- One IT suite
- Plus three standard classrooms

A lift was also installed to allow for disabled access as well as W/C facilities for pupils and staff. Crafted with cutting-edge pod systems, the building boasts a striking angled frontage entirely glazed to create an airy and light exhibition space on the first floor, specifically designed for the art and design curriculum.

Externally, the blend of traditional cavity brick and render, complemented by powder-coated aluminium curtain walling and a pitched slate roof, defines the building's aesthetic appeal. Internally, attention to detail is evident, with top-tier finishes including suspended ceilings, oak doors, skirtings, and architraves.

Kent Air Ambulance required a bespoke replacement Head Office. With increasing demand for the service, the working environment needed to include the following:

- Floorplan flexibility: accommodate existing staff numbers as well as incorporate additional space to expand in the future.
- Fit for purpose: provide the working environment needed for staff to fulfil their roles, whether training, strategic response meetings, or comfortable areas for relaxation after a shift, the environment needed to be designed with care and consideration to enable this vital service to continue to carry out its emergency work.
