One of our existing customers wanted to create a low maintenance garden for her and her grandson. As a new build we often find insufficient sized patios laid without a proper sub base and lawns laid with little regard for the quality of the soil below, let alone the quality of the turf itself. We lifted the existing paving to be used elsewhere for bin storage and created two patio areas connected with a path using Rippon Indian sandstone. We made three raised planters in a barked area to enable them to experiment growing fruits and vegetables in an easy and well contained way. We re-turfed the garden after lifting the existing grass and bringing in high quality top soil.

It is always nice to be asked to do further work for a client. After having previously built a bespoke fence during the height of lockdown we were asked to come back and completely revamp the garden after an extension had been built. We used anthracite porcelain paving to create a beautiful raised patio area and walkway round the garden. In addition we levelled and re-turfed the lawn and resolved existing drainage issues.

Another recently completed job in Robin Hood. Making the back garden into several nice areas for planting whilst creating a winding path through the garden, to allow the customer to take in their garden to the full every time they come and go! :) Also ripping out and recreating the area around the door into a usable sitting area .

One of our lockdown projects.

Modernising an existing garden with particular emphasis on respecting the owner's late husband's design. Using existing materials where possible, and introducing modern elements we created more functional spaces by reconfiguring steps, creating larger areas for seating and using artificial grass instead of decorative stone. The overall result is a garden which is now dramatically easier to navigate, whilst still remaining a recognisable reflection of the original design.
