It's been a while since I last post, I have been so busy at work keeping the customers happy that I have forgotten about my page. This is the job I have taken on at present it's a complete contemporary style timber frame new build, in a perfect seaside setting.
Can't wait to see it finished.

Some photos of a recent project that has been undertaken, customer wanted Oak newels and rails and base rails.
I used a newel cladding kit to conceal the existing newles.
New base rail, hand rail, landing nosing, apron and a couple of extra newls all coated in Danish oil.
I am really proud of this one, the customer really happy with the result.
There are a couple bits to do like fitting glass re laying carpet and some ceiling trims.

Last weeks lovely job:
The customer wanted a bespoke TV unit with specific sections underneath and a utility area, complete with cupboards to hide the boiler and cables. I also did an oak floating mantle which came out pretty good if i do say so.

Happy customers are what we like!

Its been really fun to do this job, even more so that i have a connection with Binsted Church, having wealthy family back then who were part of the landed gentry and put money into the building. Quite proud that my family's name still hangs on the plaque with the family crest.
It was a pleasure to replace part of the floor boards as the joists and boards were rotten.
Doing a job in a listed building and one as historical as this one is tricky with regulations and boxes to tick but we managed it!
The vicar was thrilled.

Last weeks job was one of my favourite things to create in a while! Really made the cogs turn...

Western red cedar is a beautiful timber and it did not disappoint on this lovely contemporary porch design.
Very happy customers at the end, which we like to hear. Got to say, was pretty proud myself!
