Frosted film, not just for bathrooms!

This week we installed this lovely Frosted film to the 2 side panes of this front door in Northamptonshire. The customer was worried those outside could see in at night when lights were switched on and called us to ask for our advice.
We installed this Frosted film to both panes with a small gap on all 4 edges to give that etched glass look and allow the customer to see who was at the door before opening it, an important security measure to consider on panes next to a front door.

Customer very happy with the results and contacted us after her next door neighbour had the same installed to their front door side panels by us a few years ago and recommended us to her.

Happy new year everyone.

Sounds strange to say on the 12th January but last week was our first week back from the christmas break and what a busy one it was too.

4 conservatory/glass roof installations in the last week and this is today's. All prepped and ready to start filming with our specialist 2ply window film to the roof panels to stop heat, glare and fading. Customer didn't want a fixed roof as it would make her adjoining living room too dark and the cost was too much, window film was the obvious choice.

Well it's a Saturday and today we are installing a 14mil 350micron bomb blast security film to a large number of glass to go on emergency service vehicles.

14mil or 350micron film is like cardboard, extremely difficult to work with but the strength of this film is amazing. Multi layered with a high tensile laminate adhesive, this stuff is the beast of window films for ultimate strength.
Protecting the glass and vehicles from smash and grab, vandalism and other threats, it doesn't get any better than this. 💪
This is 7 times thicker than your average window tinting film.

When you go to install window film on an old school house, the customer lets you in and say they'll be back later. They then happen to drop in that "the house is haunted so you might hear and see things throughout the day". That's reassuring 👻😱🤣🤣🤣

Today's installation, all the top windows you can see on this school in northamptonshire. Work carried out on weekends to avoid disruption to the children in the week, this installation is booked for the next 2 weekends.
Remove the old damaged blinds and install a dark solar film to reduce glare for the pupils and on the projector screen.
