Well, that’s a wrap on 11 incredible nights in Rhodes 🇬🇷☀️

It’s hard to leave behind the sunshine, sea views , all inclusive bar and slower pace of life, but I’m heading back to Newcastle feeling refreshed, recharged, and genuinely content.
Sometimes you don’t realise how much you need a proper break until you take one.

We were also blessed to meet an amazing couple from Cumbria, Lucy and Shaun. They’ve been our neighbours for the last few nights.
They made our holiday even better with their company, the laughs and the memories we’ve made together! We will definitely be getting together again in the future 🙌🏼

As much as we’ve loved every minute here, it’s always nice to be heading home to Newcastle.

I’ll be back to work from Monday 22nd 🫡

We all know there’s too much money in sport. That’s what it’s all about these days. Football being the worst, but boxing has been completely and utterly ruined.
Absolute nugget “influencers” being invited to fight and for a hefty pay packet.
People hyping them up like it’s the fight everyone’s waited for.

The social media coverage, the sponsorships.. yet you’ve got boxers who have started from the bottom like Jordan, put the graft in every day literally fighting their way to the top.

Genuine hard working athletes yet it’s overlooked because of popularity? How on earth does boxing relate to these “influencers”!? Why is the boxing world even entertaining them? Turned it into a joke of a sport. It’s embarrassing.

Can we start putting the same energy, backing, funds and support in to the actual boxers who fund the majority of their own fights and travel, and not the fairies on social media? 👍🏼
