Castletown estate gardens had two unwanted visitors in their stunning gardens. Very quick catches and the gardens can now recover and get back to their manicured much loved state. Ben the gardener was in a cherry picker trimming climbing roses. I know which job I’d rather do! Views up rhere may be stunning but I like my feet on the ground. Always a joy to be on these grounds.

Our client’s air b&b in Dockray is particularly lovely at the moment. Just a couple of minutes drive from Ullswater and my fave Pooley bridge. Set yesterday in the sun and stopped in Pooley for an ice cream whilst watching the ducks. Today was mostly showers but still a lovely spot! One pesky mole caught.

Yesterday was dodging whilst tractors were spraying muck and I caught a few moles and a stone or two!!! Today in contrast was a decent haul and less stink! Lovely to be out on one of my favourite farms in the sunshine. Came across some ducks.
