*** AGA Saga ***

You may have seen a post from us a while back showing a beautiful blue flame on a burner inside an AGA.

This was the first step in trialling using 100% renewable fuel in heating a home. The fuel used was a Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil and, following some slight tweaks to the AGA, we are pleased to announce that the AGA was lit on the 1st of December and has been burning beautifully in our test facility ever since.

We'll keep you updated with our findings, but this really could be the first step in being able to use renewable fossil-free energy to heat your home!

Is your Boiler ready for this Winter? Don't leave it before it's too late⏰❄️

An annual service is really important to ensure a warm home and a dependable central heating system during the winter months.

If you haven’t had your boiler serviced yet this year, you can book an appointment by calling our customer service team on 01279 842463📞

During a boiler service, our engineer will clean all the parts and components in your boiler and check they’re all in good working order. Even if everything seems to be running as it should, an annual service is also usually required to maintain your boiler’s warranty!

You could get £5-6,000 off of a heat pump installation!

That’s right – due to the government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), you may be eligible to get a £5,000 grant towards the installation of an air source heat pump, or a £6,000 grant towards the installation of a ground source heat pump, providing your home meets the BUS eligibility requirements.
