Here’s some advice if you’re looking to get work done in the new year. 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️🔨

Quotes: 📝

🔸When a tradesperson/company gives a quote, that doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how much the job is, there’s no price book, some companies are bigger than others and have bigger overheads, also some people are greedy!
A smaller quote doesn’t mean a lower standard, it could end up being the best job!

🔸ALWAYS get a few quotes, again, the quote does not reflect the quality of the work, getting multiple quotes will give you an average of what the job will cost and a chance to meet and get a feel for the tradesperson.

🔸I would advice to get quotes from a local tradesperson with a good reputation, who friends or colleagues have used and recommend.

Payment: 💴 💳

🔸if it’s a small job 1-5 days, except materials, payment should be paid on the last day, when you are satisfied with the job.
🔸For bigger jobs a payment plan should be made per section of job completed.
🔸Most tradespersons are good honest men/women and are easy for you to talk to and work with.
