I gave this little armchair an upholstery makeover, from drab beige to this pretty soft lavender. Making the templates from the original panels. Looking so much better now !

These chairs looked ok when they came in for new fabric but they were a mess underneath so they’ve been rebuilt and covered in this lovely soft herringbone fabric.

Upholstery can be a dusty job when taking off the old fabric.
Just had to stay in front of the fan and carry on !!

Another fabulous chair created on the 5 Day Upholstery Course.
From an old diy project someone had previously covered in a hessian sack with lots of staples to remove, to this absolute beauty. Thanks again to Kat. If you’d like to try upholstery, get in touch 😊

Today I was finishing the sewing on this old wing chair. Sat on the floor because it’s too heavy to lift onto the bench on my own, had the doors open and a pigeon flew in to watch, fortunately he got bored and left before I had to try and get him out !!

Finished this little chair today, velvet seat and pretty contrast fabric. I made a little cushion with some offcuts too.
