Due to some family health issues I'm not taking any work on. Hopefully it will be only for the next couple of weeks depending on how things go. I'm so sorry if you needed me sooner.

I will post back on here if and when I'm available and when I am I'm probably going to have to limit the size of the jobs I do which i doubt will be a problem as most of my jobs are fitting lights and sockets ect but as I'm also a carer and these duties have escalated as with my mother just leaving hospital my priorities have to change. (Hopefully temporary)

I had to create a tool by bolting 2 hole saws together. The higher one was a guide into the old holes and the larger one was 140mm for the new plate lights that fitted. £60 this little lot cost all that just to get perfectly round holes.

Currently working on my van. There has been an on going problem since I bought it 6 years ago but all the mechanics I've taken it to have said it's a MAP (Pressure) Sensor but I've always thought it's something else, a blocked manifold.

We all can press a button on a piece of test equipment and get the right answer but come to the wrong conclusion, it takes a bit of understanding of what's going on to realise the results you've been given.

This is the same in electrical testing. I've a small fortune in test equipment but when you press that button it's only a number. The skill is understanding what that number means it's usually far from black and white.

Anyway, long story short all of the manifold is 3/4 blocked so is all the feed pipes and the changeover flaps are stuck in the open position, it's a major strip down and clean. Lots of new strange tools required to get at the nuts and bolts, I swear the designers where having a laugh at some of these bolt locations.

So, I'm going to be off the road till at least Tuesday that's if it works again after I've put it back together..

Only kidding, Have faith, Its not my first rodeo it will be purring like a diesel kitten.

I've just looked at my Turner Electrics page messages and it says I've had a few this month but I've not received any notifications and it won't let me open the messages, so I apologise if you have sent me me a message regarding a job you want doing and I've not replied.

Still having van issues. I got it back yesterday supposedly repaired only to find the engine management light to come on again.

It's going back in next Tuesday. Fingers crossed they find the fault.

Also Monday it's covid injection day, I've got to take mother to the St. Helen's stadium to get her jab. Why couldn't it be the wolves stadium at least it would be done by a winning team.

My van is still off the road and I've not heard back from the garage yet. This is not a good sign. I was told these guys were good so if they can't find it I'm screwed. Sorry to all my customers waiting for me to do your work but things are out of my control.
I might end up looking having to look for a new van. All because of a small vacume leak.
