👋 Say hello to Darren, our Contracts Manager!
We welcomed Darren to DAL in February joining our team as Contract Manager. With over 25 years of experience across the electrical, security, and telecommunications sectors, Darren brings a powerful combination of leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on project delivery to the team.
His career began in the British Army, where he developed strong discipline and teamwork skills before moving into the electrical industry. Since then, he has built an impressive track record, progressing from hands-on technical roles into senior leadership positions, managing complex projects and delivering high-quality electrical and security solutions.
🔹 Role at DAL: Contracts Manager
Darren will be working closely with the Directors and project teams to oversee contracts from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. He brings a strong focus on cost control, quality, and efficient coordination across all stages of delivery.
🔹 Favourite Part of the Job:
Darren enjoys seeing projects come together and being out on site working with clients and building strong relationships with clients and DAL engineers. He enjoys working with the team in the office and is looking forward to future projects.
🔹 Fun Fact: Darren enjoys playing golf, spending time with his family, walking his dog. He likes to go on holidays and he has just returned from a Caribbean cruise! ⛴️
