Something a little different here.

When i got the call a few months ago asking me to do it. Its not really Brickwork or Landscape's but what the hell, i couldn't say no. Then told them it would be a few months before we could get there. And they said they was willing to wait.

And am really surprised how it turned out. I love it!
Aswell as the customer's which is all that counts.

How to make customer's go "WOW"

When quoting this customer's, they was unsure what they wanted because its a big back garden.

So we came up with a plan, to start somewhere and go from there. I can visualise in my head straight away idea's etc but most customer's cant.

So this is the start of something big Phase1 (Patio1)

They have now said "let's do the rest" and also "do the drive". L👀ks like they noticed THE PRIDE IN THE JOB.

And wants to book in again. Keep those eye peeled.

This consists of 6x9 Castille Rosa Porcelain framed with Black Granite 100x100 setts with Black ice gravel.

And yet again, another one of our favourites — Kandla Grey Indian Sandstone! 😍

This was a great little job, and we think the sleepers and step really finish it off perfectly. 👌

As always, it’s all in the preparation and the detail. All sleeper posts treated with Black Jack, every cut end treated, and everything bonded properly as it should be.

No straight joints here! 😉👌

The customer loved it that much that she’s already asked us to extend it by another 30m² and wants to get booked in for the new year! 🙌

And to top it off, the neighbour is also after a quote! 🤝

A massive thank you to our customer for looking after us in the heat and, of course, for choosing us to transform your garden. ❤️

A little break from the hustle and bustle of our busy diary… we’ve finally managed to get around to doing our own driveway! 🙌

Since finally purchasing our house, the driveway was right at the top of the list — it was a must!

We went for flat-top edging to keep everything nice and tight, with a black limestone cobble sett border creating a slight rumble strip at the bottom of the drive. The main area was finished with 30m² of Kandla Grey Indian Sandstone.

We also added a new water tap cover and, after contacting Virgin to replace their cable, we managed to hide everything neatly with a recessed access cover — if you can spot it! 👀

And what a difference it’s made! The kerb appeal is 100% better, parking is much easier, there’s no more mud being dragged through the house, and it’s virtually maintenance-free apart from a few jet washes a year.

With the driveway having a slight fall from the road, we also installed an ACO drainage system with galvanised grates. As a good-will gesture, we even continued the drainage onto the neighbour’s property.

And it seems the neighbours liked it… they’ve already been in touch about having theirs done very similar! 😁

Sometimes it’s nice to finally put the tools down on everyone else’s gardens and do your own!

A bit of a different project over the last few days.

We were asked to create a stepping stone pathway through golden gravel, with the vision of keeping it simple, modern, and virtually maintenance-free. This is what we came up with.

The customers loved the finished look so much that they asked us to do the front of the property too!

We also removed all the remaining hedge and tree roots after they had been cleared, brought in fresh topsoil, and laid new turf.

The result is a clean, open-plan front garden with plenty of kerb appeal.

A big thank you to our customers for keeping us fuelled with coffee and bacon butties, and for choosing our services. It was a pleasure! 👌🌿

A little regrouting job completed over the last couple of days. 👌

When I first viewed this patio to provide a quote, I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the original installation. At only 4 years old, it shouldn't have been in this condition.

There were cross joints and uneven straight joints throughout, joint widths varied significantly, it had been laid on building sand instead of grit sand, and the ACO drain had been run underneath the steps with plastic bags covering the grate.

As a goodwill gesture, I rebuilt the steps properly, the way they should have been done from the start.

The patio has now been thoroughly jet washed, pre-sealed, and professionally regrouted, leaving it looking fresh again and ready for many more years of use.

It's always satisfying putting right a job that wasn't done correctly the first time. 💪

And another job over the line. There's no stopping us atm.
We've got to make the most it this time of year.

The customer's had had a hit an run on the corner of there property. And damaged the car, so the only thing for it was to open the front up. So I preformed a magic trick, I put there "ChatGpt" to life. And this is the result.

18 tonne out, consisted of Old flags/ earth/ gardenwall/ Hedge.

Replaced with Peakstone mixed setts with 1 boarder, Aco drain along the property, 2 garden wall pillars and Slate caps all whacked with Polysweep setting sand.

Turned out how i wanted it to, if not better.

When a customer sends you a couple of pictures of the lawn we laid at the beginning of June at EAGLE'S GREEN site, after it's been through two heatwaves, and it still looks like this... 🌱💚 there is going to be a few more jobs in the coming months from that new build site.

It's moments like these that remind you why you take pride in your work. A properly prepared lawn and the right aftercare make all the difference.
