PB Forestry and Landscaping Limited Established in 2011 PB started as an acorn and is gradually growing into a well maintained oak tree. Please see photos in our library.

PB Forestry as a company have grown in a controlled manor now employing a direct team of 10 which is split into 3 divisions. Tree’s/vegetation/clearance, where we have our tree shear now fully operational that works nicely alongside our smaller 4.5 tonne machine which feeds our Schleising 550zx chipper that site behind our John Deer 6900. As well as this we have all the hand held tools, flail mowe

rs and access to some of the largest mulchers in this country. We also now have a very well established fencing devision, carrying out all types of fencing as required, and we have just taken ownership of our new Evo 1 Tracked post knocker which cuts out a lot of labour intensive work and enables a fast and quality finish to our fencing works. As well as this we have been involved in a lot of restoration works for aggregate companies, Prologis, large estates and some smaller scale jobs for the like of the Butterfly Conservation and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, who we continue to work with, jobs include Woodland management, plantation, seeding, fencing and then aftercare management. We have also been involved in some early stage clearance working closely with the ground investigation and ecologists on the HS2 project over the last year which has proved extremely interesting. We are about to purchase our own low loader which will enable us to haul all of our machinery to and from site which in return will reduce our over heads and subsequently our costs to our clients. We are Avetta recognised with some good feedback, and we are keen to use our accreditation to the max as we know its recognised throughout the aggregate industry, and all our guys are SPA MPQC trained and have all relevant operators tickets. Along with this we are all now Bali and ISO 9001 accredited and are currently going through the process of our Heath and Safety and Environmental ISO stages which should be in place by the end of this summer. As we continue to grow our company in an extremely controlled and stable manor we would be delighted to hear from anyone interested in our services.

🚧M5 Works Continue for Galliford Try🚧

Works on the M5 for Galliford Try are continuing, with the PB Forestry & Landscaping team carrying out vegetation management and road improvement enablement works.

Recent works have included the removal of dead hedging, with ecology teams on site to ensure all works are carried out safely, responsibly, and in line with environmental regulations.

Projects like these play an important role in improving infrastructure while carefully managing surrounding vegetation and habitats. Our experienced teams continue to deliver the work safely and efficiently while maintaining high environmental and safety standards throughout.

The team at PB Forestry & Landscaping are currently carrying out ongoing newt fencing works for one of our clients.

Newt fencing, also known as amphibian fencing, is used to safely guide and protect great crested newts and other wildlife during construction and land development projects. These ecological measures play an important role in protecting habitats while allowing work to continue safely and responsibly.

🚧A Busy Week in Scotland for the PB Forestry & Landscaping Team🚧

Members of our sales and operations team have been up in Scotland this week alongside our Scotland Area Manager, continuing to build relationships and explore exciting opportunities across the region.

On Tuesday, the team attended the Constructionline Meet the Buyer event in Glasgow, where we had the opportunity to connect with new businesses, contractors, and industry professionals. It was a fantastic event and a great chance to make valuable new connections within the industry.

The team then spent Wednesday and Thursday visiting both potential and already secured projects across Scotland, discussing upcoming works and assessing future opportunities for PB Forestry & Landscaping.

The long drive was definitely worth it, and we are excited about continuing to grow our presence across Scotland.

A big thank you to everyone we met throughout the week. We look forward to working with you in the future.

😂 Thursday Mishaps… when the diary took a trip of its own! 📖

Earlier this week, Rob from our sales team was out carrying out site surveys as usual. All went well… until he realised later on that his diary had gone missing 👀

After a bit of head-scratching, Rob headed back to retrace his steps, only to discover he’d accidentally left his diary on the roof of his car… and driven off...

Unfortunately, the diary didn’t quite make the journey in one piece. Being a busy road with passing lorries, it was later found scattered in several different parts along the road!

Safe to say, it’s been one of those weeks, and maybe a reminder to double-check everything before setting off 😅
