IT’S FINALLY HERE…MY WEBSITE IS LIVE!
I honestly cannot tell you how excited I am to finally be able to say that! It’s been in the pipeline for such a long time, but due to one thing or another, I just wasn’t able to get it launched. Then, as these things sometimes happen, I met the super lovely and exceptionally talented Aditi at Croxley’s Big Green Fair Croxley Green Parish Council and the rest is history!
Aditi from https://kivaan.co.uk helped me turn this long-awaited idea into a reality, and I honestly could not have asked for a better person to work with. She has been amazing from start to finish — patient, creative, helpful and incredibly talented. One of the best I have worked with!
So, if you’re a small business thinking about getting a website or need some help with your socials, please do look her up. She specialises in supporting small businesses, and I can wholeheartedly recommend her!
And of course… I would absolutely love it if you popped over to have a little look around my new website https://seedlingandstem.co.uk/
I’ve also added some new pressed and dried flower cards to the website just today, so do have a little look while you’re there!
For those who live locally, you can now also order my seasonal jam jar posies through the website and choose either collection or local delivery at checkout!

I’ll put the link in my bio — and please do let me know what you think! Your feedback will be very much appreciated!
Please bear with me as it’s all very new — if you spot any issues while using the website, do let me know so I can fine-tune things.

Once again thank you Aditi for helping me finally make this happen!

This jam jar posy went out today as a birthday gift for a customer’s friend, and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to remind you that I do gift jam jar posies too!
At the moment, my flower patch is full of beautiful seasonal flowers including Dahlias, Zinnias, Strawflowers, Celosia, Phlox, Snapdragons, Apple of Peru, grasses and lots of lovely foliage. Every posy is a little different and made using whatever is looking its best at the time.
I make them in two sizes – Standard and Large – and each one comes beautifully finished with a ribbon and gift tag. A gift bag can also be added for an extra £1.
All I need is one day’s notice by 5pm. That gives me time to harvest your flowers in the evening, condition them overnight and arrange your posy fresh the following morning.
Also if you receive one of my posies, a little flower care goes a long way! Simply keep the water topped up and change it every couple of days to help your flowers last as long as possible.
A lovely little gift, made with flowers grown sustainably in my cut flower patch!
DM me if you’d like to order one or have any questions.

Love flowers but want to have a go at arranging them yourself?
My 30 stem DIY Flower Buckets are filled with beautiful, fresh, seasonal British-grown flowers, ready for you to take home and get creative with.
Each bucket includes around 30 stems, and I always like to add a few extras too — whether that’s grasses, foliage, seed heads or other interesting bits from the flower patch.
I also try to include at least two different colour palettes, giving you the chance to play around with different colour combinations. You can mix everything together, keep the colours separate or create a few completely different arrangements. It’s entirely up to you!
They’re perfect if you’re decorating your home, making a gift, planning a party or get-together, or simply want to practise your flower arranging skills without having to choose and source all the flowers yourself.
And you definitely don’t need to be a florist — just a love of flowers and a willingness to have a go!
Message me if you’d like to order a DIY Flower Bucket or want to know more.

Now taking orders for
Teacher Thank You Jam Jar Posies!
As another school year comes to an end, it’s the perfect time to say a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful teachers and school staff who have encouraged, supported and inspired our children along the way.
Our teacher gift posies are filled with locally grown, scented & seasonal flowers and arranged in a charming jam jar, finished with beautiful ribbon or raffia.
Each one comes with a blank gift tag so you can add your own personal message.
A simple, thoughtful gesture that says “thank you” in the loveliest way.
Available for collection, or I can deliver locally.
If you’d like to reserve one, just send me a message — I’d love to help make someone’s end-of-term thank you extra special.

Did a pressed flower card making workshop with the wonderful ladies at The Watford & Three Rivers Refugee Partnership (WTRRP) social hub . What an incredible session! Such amazingly talented and creative ladies. What I loved watching the most is how much they all enjoyed creating their own unique designs. Fantastic session!
Thank you to the very lovely Annabel for inviting me to hold the workshop.
It was a pleasure to see the wonderful work that you all do

A little insight into flower farming during extreme heat...
While it’s true that sunshine is every flower farmer’s dream, prolonged heatwaves can create huge challenges for us.
The extreme temperatures cause flowers to bloom all at once and much faster. Crops that would normally flower over several weeks can suddenly be ready at the same time, leaving us racing against the clock to harvest, condition and sell them before they fade.
At the same time, we’re dealing with constant watering, stressed plants and the uncertainty that comes with increasingly erratic weather patterns. One week it’s drought conditions, the next it’s non stop rain. Farming has always relied on working with nature, but these extremes are becoming harder to predict and manage.

Right now, our flowers are bursting into bloom and we would love your support.
If you’ve been thinking about treating yourself, sending flowers to a friend, or booking blooms for an upcoming event, now is the perfect time. Every order helps us make the most of this fleeting abundance and supports a small flower grower in navigating the challenges of a changing climate.
Thank you for supporting local, seasonal flowers and the people who grow them.
