Got a call from a friend asking for an emergency job down in Brighton where water was getting into these dormers and needed to be water tight quickly! Last night my van got broken into. Please take this as a warning!! They knew exactly where to drill and exactly how to get past the deadlocks which didn’t seem to deter them at all! I managed to scare them off but not before they did get a lot of my tools. The vehicle was a navy blue 65 plate Golf R which has a smashed windscreen so please keep an eye out in the Hertfordshire and surrounding areas and report it to the police if you think it might fit the description. You will notice the windscreen because it has a big hole in the drivers side!! Van crime is getting out of hand, as I know numerous vans in my area that have been broken into.
