Another pergola ticked off the list!

This solid oak pergola was built to contain a bar and seating area for the clients gorgeous outdoor heated pool. We installed 2x 1.5kw patio heaters, as well as RGB LED tape surrounding the ceiling, fitted on 45° profile.

On one of the rear posts of the pergola is where we fixed the switch spurs and switches to control the heaters and lighting.

Another full rewire completed just off of Camden high street. This particular property had the shop front renovated as well as the rear portion of the shop over 2 floors, renovated into a 2 bedroom luxury flat.

This particular install was very high end which is clearly displayed in the final photos.

We have been busy here at 3R Electrical throughout the festive period, ensuring our customers are satisfied!

We got around to finishing up our Pergola installation over in Borehamwood these last few weeks and our customer was beyond pleased.

In addition to the pergola with IP rated consumer unit, patio heaters and outdoor socket outlets, the customer also requested outdoor decking lights installed to their garden sleepers and spike lights around the perimeter of the garden for the trees which will be planted in the new year.

As per my previous garden lighting job, I had to recommend Collingwood Lighting Ltd GL019 decking lights and SL130 spike lights controlled via a photocell in conjunction with a timed spur.

Todays job was pulling in a 10mm 3c SWA from the consumer unit out to a concrete foundation ready for a garden pergola to be assembled by

The client requested a supply large enough for integrated LED tape, outdoor socket enclosures, future garden lighting as well as a good few 1.5kW patio heaters.

The supply was pulled in from the consumer unit within some 20mm copex, into a wiska box, glanded off and supported along its run every 300mm with cleats; to where it enters the ground and will be burried by the landscapers once the garden has been dug up.

I received a call that a customers PIR, controlling their outside porch light had broken that same morning and he would rather a wall light with PIR be installed instead.

Due to the wiring being fairly old, there was no CPC within the lighting circuits therefore was limited to choosing a class 2 light fitting.

These are a few jobs completed last week where the customer requested us to install a ring floodlight camera above their garage, to provide lighting and extra security for their lovely home, as well as replace an outside PIR light fitting and a pendent in the living room.

For the ring floodlight, we installed 20mm white PVC conduit to contain the cable back to the garage consumer unit and offer increased protection.

Here is some lovely conduit work for lighting and power, completed beneath a block of flats situated in Hemel Hempstead earlier this year.

This was all installed with 20mm galvanised conduit due to the mechanical protection it offers in a high impact area.
