HERTFORDSHIRE - EWI PROJECT
This project involved the installation of an External Wall Insulation (EWI) system, finished with a pre-coloured monocouche render using PRB products to deliver a durable, low-maintenance, and visually consistent façade.
To enhance both the aesthetic and practical performance of the system, brick slips were installed at the lower level, positioned just above the plinth detail. This provided additional protection in high-impact areas while maintaining a traditional appearance at ground level.
All plumbing works were carefully adapted and integrated to ensure full compatibility with the EWI build-up. Services were extended and detailed correctly through the insulation system, resulting in a fully functional, practical, and compliant EWI installation without compromising performance or finish quality.
The completed system improves the building’s thermal efficiency while delivering a clean, modern external appearance with long-term durability.
