Steve Johnson Roofing Hi, I run a roofing company based in Watford which meets all roofing requirements from replacing a broken tile or leaky gutter to a complete reroof.

We also do fascia, gutters, leadwork and flat roofs.

I haven't posted on here for a while now as I'm pretty much out of action after being diagnosed with a hernia.(No matter how careful you are thirty three years of heavy lifting will do that for you!).G.P. said not to aggravate it until op in January and who am I to argue?Best wishes to all.x

Some chancers knocked on this customers door in Bricket Wood to tell him the lead over his bay was damaged.They should know,they were the ones who damaged it!When he declined to let them loose on it they left him with a mouthful of abuse and a potential leak.Today I removed the lead covering and felted the bay.I've said it before:Tradesmen don't knock on doors touting for work.Avoid them like the plague.

Merry Christmas to all my lovely customers and those kind enough to recommend me.There's no sugar coating it,2020 has been a huge challenge .Apart from the pandemic i know so many people who have lost loved ones and of course our freedoms have been severely restricted.But hey,tomorrow the sun will rise and we push on.I hope the new year is kinder to everyone and I wish you all well.

Last week we did this lead step flashing on a customer's porch because the original lead was stolen by 2 blokes who he agreed to let cut back his tree.He had a major leak next time it rained heavy.The moral of the story?
If you employ chancers who knock on your door you'll maybe end up paying out a lot more.

If your next door neighbour's are having building work done hopefully their builders will be more professional than the lot who broke clusters of tiles in 2 places on my customers bungalow and didn't tell her.I only spotted the damage when I was clearing her guttering and it was only the felt beneath the roof tiles that stopped her being flooded.An 80 year old widow doesn't need that.So when neighbouring building work is completed it's always worth having a walk around your property to check for damage.
