We are looking for a talented Associate Director to come and lead our growing Quantity Surveying team. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to lead, nurture and mentor our close knit team. An eye for detail is also essential. This role may suit someone returning to the profession or someone looking to take their first step into a senior leadership role.
We are looking for a leader rather than a manager. You must be willing to get involved with the delivery of our services as well as being involved at a strategic decision making level, to help grow the business.
Candidates should be a Member or Fellow of the RICS as either a Quantity Surveyor or Building Surveyor.
We are offering a competitive package including a profit share arrangement, private healthcare, membership of professional bodies etc.

So that’s it!! What a year 2022 has been. We are wrapped up for the year here at Langley. It has been a good one, helping 42 clients! An amazing effort by our staff. Roll on 2023!!!

As with the previous few years, Langley have once again decided to support a charity instead of sending out bottles, gifts and cards to our clients.

This year we are making a donation to the Teenage Cancer Trust and a specific fund set up in the memory of Noah, the son of some friends who tragically died of bowel cancer this year aged just 19. If you can spare a few minutes please take the time to read his story and the amazing work of TCT that has inspired his parents, Steve and Julie, to work with them to raise awareness of the deficiencies in the care pathway for teenagers with cancer, particularly when it comes to early diagnosis.

It is with great pride that Langley confirmed Practical Completion at this fantastic project in Stanmore. It has been a great pleasure to work with the JDR Property Group, Griggs Homes and Mosaic Jewish Community in our role as Contract Administrator and Quantity Surveyor to participate in this mixed use development of apartments and Langley’s first Synagogue!

A wonderful addition to the local area.

Construction is such a vital part of the UK economy and must keep moving forward and tackle head on such issues as rising material costs and the current energy crisis.

Here is Langley’s latest project update. Our client is a groundworks sub-contractor. They are undertaking the sub-structure and RC frame for this five-storey development including a basement car park in West London.
So far, the piling has been completed and the reduced level dig of the basement is underway. Langley are acting as the sub-contractor’s QS, submitting the monthly valuations, pricing variations, and providing general QS advice.

Today Langley are in Gloucestershire!
This development in the heart of Gloucester City Centre will form a ground floor retail unit and an HMO with a new third floor roof extension.
Langley are carrying out due diligence and acting as bank monitor for our client, a specialist development lender.

Exciting to see the progress at one of our clients’ sites in Stanmore.
We are nearly there now! The hoarding has been taken down and the internal finishes are almost complete with the remaining finishing touches taking place externally before project completion.
Langley cannot wait to see the finished product, and the lucky few to start moving into their luxury flats.

Another project successfully completed! This project was for two luxury houses located on a secluded private estate in Kingston.
Langley were employed by our Architect Client, mid-way through the build to provide sub-consultancy advice to support them in their role of CA. We had a really great working relationship and they were happy, as it meant they could focus on the design side of the build.
It’s something we’ve done a number of times now, and it seems to work well. We’d be more than happy to speak to any of our Architect contacts to see if we can assist them with this role.
