🌱 What do we actually mean by renewable heating?

For homeowners, one of the options you'll probably hear about most is an air source heat pump.

Instead of burning gas to produce heat like a traditional boiler, an air source heat pump takes heat from the outside air and uses it as part of your home's heating system.

They work differently to the heating systems many of us are used to, so understanding how to use them properly is important too.

It's an area we're really interested in at Fairway, and with over 10 years' experience working with heat pumps from an installation point of view, Jordon has seen the technology change a lot over the years.

CIPHE stands for the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering and is a professional body for the plumbing and heating industry.

Being a member means working to professional standards and continuing to develop our knowledge and skills throughout our careers.

For us, qualifications and accreditations aren't just badges to add to the website. They're about making sure we're properly trained, keeping up with changes in the industry and giving our customers confidence in the people working in their home.

Alongside CIPHE, we also hold a number of other qualifications and accreditations including Gas Safe, Baxi Approved, Grant G1 and City & Guilds... and we're always continuing our training.
