Recently completed kitchen refurbishment, solid oak worktops refinished, cabinet doors stripped and repainted, plus custom-made units.

Kitchen Refurbishment ✨

This kitchen was completely refurbished while preserving the character of the original timber.

The cabinet doors and drawer fronts were sanded back to bare wood, carefully prepared, primed and repainted to ensure the natural wood grain remained beautifully visible.

Rather than simply sanding the existing finish and applying another coat of paint, proper preparation prevents excessive paint build-up and results in a cleaner, more durable finish.

The solid oak worktops were fully sanded and refinished with Osmo Oil, together with:

🔨 New solid oak window sill
🔨 Custom-made drawer box and new base units
🔨 New handles and finishing details

This project shows how a quality refurbishment can completely transform an existing kitchen without the expense of a full replacement.

Refurbished and modernised glazed doors.

The original 90s-style clear glass has been replaced with reeded glass, adding privacy and a softer, more contemporary feel.

Openings were enlarged and refined, with two complete double-door sets upgraded to sit comfortably in a modern interior.
