NJE Heating Services We operate within a 30 mile radius of Welshpool, providing for our domestic client’s central heating systems, gas, oil services and plumbing requirements.

Our team can install full central heating systems, boilers upgrades and radiators to new, old properties or renovations. We provide a Free Quotation for any work our customer may require, carrying out a comprehensive survey liaising with customers to assess their requirements and to provide the most efficient system for the property. We always give our customers a guide to how long the installatio

n will take and stay on site until work is completed. We respect our customers’ homes and try to minimise any disruption whilst we are carrying out work. We pride ourselves on providing a complete service – from the first day we install your appliance, to looking after your appliances throughout its whole life with regular annual servicing and repairs when required. Our customers are very important to us and we believe good service is the key to our business with many families returning to us generation after generation. Having a showroom we are accessible every day of the week and you can talk to us on the phone at any other time. We welcome customers in the showroom to arrange appointments for our planned annual maintenance and look forward to meeting them face to face every year.

With the cold weather upon us we have been called out to a few frozen condensate pipes this morning. Here's a little info that may help you from the Worcester Bosch website.

"If part of your condensate pipework is outside and does freeze during a prolonged period of very cold weather, you might hear a gurgling noise coming from the boiler and if your boiler has a digital display, you may see an ‘EA’ error code too. There’s no need to worry if your condensate pipe freezes. You can usually thaw it safely without the need to call an installer or engineer".

Step 1 Look for an outdoor pipe connected to your boiler
* it's usually white plastic connecting to an external drain*

Step 2
If safe to do so, pour WARM water along the pipe
*Not boiling water*

Step 3
Reset your boiler. All should be working normally
