Last week we had the task of assessing drainage works on a rail embankment working along side this crazzy machine.
Hats off to the operator a verry skilled individual working for W.Smart construction

We were working for SAS on a rail blockade near Aberystwyth providing rope access suport and installing drainage on the embankment.

Setting up ropes to access some difficulty areas under the centers of a arched structure for inspections.
Working side by side was our rope team and water rescue team last weekend. Assisting with rail asset structure engineers at night over water.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster, but the truth is this is what we do on a weekly basis and our teams working well together makes the impossible , possible 💪

When the sun sets some of our team are juts getting ready for there shift to start.

Working on railway structures across the country helping out with detailed inspections using rope access and water / boat safety support, keeping infrastructure safe.

Keeping a close eye on the soil,rock and structures on the DJP working within a ES worksite our technical team assisting the examiners using rope access to inspect the assets along the coast ,backed up by our rescue team out on the water on standby as part of the rescue and evacuation plan.

A wonderful area to work with some wonderful people.

🔴🟡 RBO (Rescue boat operations) 🔴🟡

At Bridgen Contracting LTD we have our own in house RBO services that we use to assist with projects in and over water.
From inland water ways to costal and tidal waters we have it covered with a small team of RBO and SRT (Swift water rescue) qualified rescue technicians

Under Irata Annex S we use our RBO for emergency and rescue planning when working over off shore waters , and we uses our SRT capabilities when working in and around inland water. Making sure a rescue vessel is on staby to assist or to be included in the rescue planning for evacuation.

Audited under RISQS C.C3.2.302N for manned safety boat we are able to work on/under Network rail infrastructure.
