After recent events, we wanted to take a moment to remind everyone about something that means a lot to us. ❤️

Whenever we carry out a house clearance or rubbish removal, if we find anything that can be saved, reused or given a new home, we donate it directly to Isabel Hospice

Now more than ever, it feels important to remember that organisations like Isabel Hospice rely heavily on donations and the generosity of the local community to continue the incredible work they do.

What is PAT Testing?

PAT testing (Portable Appliance Testing) is the routine inspection and electrical testing of plug-in appliances to ensure they are safe to use.
The goal is to prevent workplace electrical accidents, fires, and shocks by identifying faults, worn cables, or damaged plugs before they cause harm.

In recent weeks people have been trying their hardest to stay cool, however rewiring and using a fan that failed its PAT test is not worth the risk, it has been failed, reported and had the plug removed for a reason!

Also any items brought in or dontated should be electrically tested before being used as they will not be on your annual report.
