Busy busy busy!

Absolutely loads going on across all our sites, thank you to the team for keeping things moving during a flat out holiday season!

At Buckingham we’ve been soldiering on with the show homes with first fix completed now on all 4, meanwhile we’ve also been busy fitting more roofs and joists.

At Wixams we had a record month in terms of output. In July on this development we completed 21 first fixes 🤝 and if that wasn’t enough 15 second fixes as well as plenty of other works across the development.

Over at Westoning we are finishing up on the last build route with first and second fixes completed as well as more plots coming out the ground with joists going on currently.

In the past 2 weeks we’ve gone live with SiteTrackPro.

This easy to use software is going to be a game changer for us as a business, streamlining our accounts and invoicing procedures as well as automating our QA process.

All of our Carpenter’s are set up on the App and will now complete quality assurance documents upon completing works which are directly emailed to clients so they always know what’s going on our and and that standards are being met.

Over the coming months we will be liaising with Site Managers to improve and tailor the QA sheets to each site individually.

A fantastic day spent at Brocket Hall golf club raising funds for Crisis at Vistry group’s charity golf day.

As a company that contributes to building houses for a living it’s great to do our bit for a charity that supports people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless by providing one-to-one help with finding housing, accessing benefits and healthcare, gaining employment, and developing skills.

The first 6 roofs have been fitted at Buckingham, with another 2 cranes booked for next week for further roofs. On top of this more joists are going on.

At Wixams we are now averaging 3 1st and 2nd fix a week, soon to be 4. As well as fascia and soffit visits this site is getting lively.

Over at westoning we’re on site getting the last 2nd fixes and finals completed before starting a new build route in the coming weeks with more joists on the way.

Steady progress at Wixams;

Over at Wixams the site is gaining momentum as the timber frame lads are now averaging 6-8 plots a week. The boys at SD are well on top of the programme with works happening across all build stages.

Thank you to the boys on site for your hard work it’s been a hot week but we’ve managed to keep on top of it 👊🏻🔥

Works are underway on our latest contract win where we will be delivering a further 152 units for Vistry in Buckingham. This next phase will take our total delivery on this development up to 273 units.

Thank you to the lads who have battled persistent rain over the past 2 weeks getting the first 10 sets of joists and boarding completed.

Things are moving along nicely over at Wixams where the team have been busy 1st fixing plots 124-133, we have also completed 2nd fix in plots 110-120.

Meanwhile at Westoning there’s plenty of 2nd fixing and finals being completed with 19 plots due to be CML’d by mid June.

Over at Buckingham the site is in its finishing stages with all plots 1st fix now completed and a handful of 2nd fix and finals remaining. 🔨☀️
