🚨 Not all drain blockages are caused by wipes and grease…
Our engineers attended site to investigate a blocked drainage system affecting toilet and urinal facilities. Using high-pressure water jetting equipment, we worked upstream through the pipework to locate and clear the obstruction.
After sustained jetting operations, normal flow was successfully restored throughout the system. During the clearance process, we recovered large amounts of scale build-up, accumulated debris and, surprisingly, multiple staff ID cards! 👀
These materials had combined to create a significant restriction within the drainage system, leading to the blockage.
To ensure the issue was fully resolved, extensive flow testing was carried out by repeatedly flushing the affected toilet and introducing water into the urinal trough. All fixtures discharged correctly with no signs of backing up, confirming the blockage had been completely removed.
✅ Flow restored
✅ System tested
✅ Drainage left operating as intended
