🔥 Boiler Service Tip – Don’t Ignore the Magnet! 🔥

When we carry out a boiler service, one of the most important checks is cleaning the magnetic filter.

Take a look at these photos 👀 – that thick black sludge is magnetite (iron oxide), and it builds up inside your heating system over time. This comes from corrosion inside radiators and pipework.

If it’s not removed regularly, it can:
❌ Reduce heating efficiency
❌ Block pipework and pumps
❌ Damage the boiler’s heat exchanger
❌ Lead to costly breakdowns

Your magnetic filter is there to protect your boiler – but it can only do its job properly if it’s cleaned during every annual service.

A quick clean of the magnet helps:
✅ Improve system efficiency
✅ Extend boiler lifespan
✅ Reduce repair costs
✅ Keep your heating running smoothly

It’s a small part of the service that makes a big difference to the health of your whole system.
