Paul ran the CCTV camera to find the exact spot (800mm deep near the clothesline), then dug and replaced the damaged section. No guesswork. Just good honest graft.

Nothing says Auckland summer like tree roots having a proper go at your stormwater drains 🌳

Paul spent the week at this Somerville Road dig - 1.5m down to sort a split PVC pipe caused by some very determined tree roots. Hand dug the lot, replaced the dodgy section, and backfilled it all nice and tidy.

Stormwater drains can be tricky buggers.

Lin's one kept overflowing every time it rained. Paul got the camera down, hydro got stuck, so we had to dig it up and sort it properly. Not the easiest job but hey, that's what we're here for. All sorted now ✅

But no worries! We traced the issue, freed the hose, found the soak hole, and patched the damaged pipe so everything flows sweet again.
