The moment Rajan & Hannah saw their wedding reception decor for the very first time. 🦋

Months of conversations, ideas and planning had all led to this reveal — and their reaction said more than we ever could.

For their concept reception, the butterfly became the thread running through the design: delicate, transformative and full of movement. From the larger statement pieces to the smallest details, the room was created around a world that belonged to Rajan & Hannah.

But before the guests arrived, there was one moment that mattered most to us — letting the couple walk into it together and see what had been created for them.

Their smiles made the reveal complete.

The room changed twice. The relationship behind it was built long before the day arrived.

In this design diary, our event planner Taran takes us inside a celebration that moved from a daytime mandap ceremony into an entirely different evening setting.

She shares how the brief was interpreted for each part of the day, how the team approached the turnaround, and why understanding the bride and groom was central to every decision that followed.

Because a transformation is not only about changing the appearance of a room. It is about ensuring that every chapter still feels connected to the same couple, the same story and the same celebration.

From the first conversations to the final reveal, the process is shaped through planning, trust and a relationship built over time.

Which part would you like Taran to take us behind next—the design brief, the event-day turnaround or the client journey?

Moonlit monochrome.
Crimson in motion.
Ivory afterglow.

Across these celebrations, the design language moved from sculptural candlelight and dark reflections to saturated florals, mirrored detail and a lighter composition of ivory and gold.

Each room began with its own mood.

The decisions that followed—the colour, lighting, structures, florals and tablescapes—were shaped around the feeling that particular celebration called for.

The connection between them was not a repeated formula, but an approach built around interpreting every brief in its own way.

Would your celebration begin with light, colour or drama?

This is the part guests rarely see.

Before the music, the entrance and the celebration came the build: structures positioned, tables dressed, florals layered, lights tested and details adjusted until the room felt complete.

For this Winter Wonderland setting, the design moved through frosted foliage, white florals, candlelight and reflective finishes—creating a world that felt crisp, luminous and full of movement.

From an active room to the final reveal.

A room should not simply be decorated. It should become a world of its own!

For this celebration, the atmosphere was built in layers.

Sculptural drapery reshaped the ceiling. Rust, amber and blush florals flowed across the room. Black reflective tables brought contrast, while candlelight introduced warmth, depth and movement.

Every element carried its own presence, but the real impact came from the way they worked together.

Not a collection of separate details.
One complete design language.
One immersive experience.

Which element draws your eye first—the ceiling, the florals, the tablescape or the candlelight?

Save this for your celebration mood board, or send Matharu’s a message to begin your own design conversation.

One venue. Different worlds.

At Supreme, the room is never treated as a fixed backdrop. It begins as a canvas—then Matharu’s reimagines it around the story, atmosphere and experience each client wants to create.

Through bespoke structures, flooring, florals, lighting, candlelight and considered details, the same space can become soft and romantic, dark and theatrical, bold and dramatic, or entirely unexpected.

No repeated formula. No one-look-fits-all approach. Just a celebration designed to feel unmistakably yours.

Supreme is the canvas. Matharu’s creates the world within it.
