Then you need your "ID Card."

Every VELUX window made since 1968 has a specific Type Sign that tells you exactly what you have. No tape measure required! 📏❌

Where to look:
🪟Open your window (pivot it toward you).
👀Look at the top left corner of the sash.
🕵️Check behind the ventilation flap.

🧩 Cracking the Code:
Your data plate will show a string of characters. Here is what they mean:
1. Type: (e.g., GGL) – This tells us the opening style and material.
2. Size: (e.g., MK04) – This is the code for your dimensions.
3. Variant: (e.g., 7070) – Defines the pane type and exterior finish.
4. Production Code: Tells us exactly when your window was born!

A Full load of Super Yellow 25x50mm and 25x38mm roofing batten re-stocked and available for immediate collection/delivery.

Check the stamp! All graded roofing batten must show its origin, dimensions, and supplier to meet BS 5534 requirements. Our Super Yellow proudly carries the WPCA mark, signifying its Swedish origin.
We’ve found that Swedish batten offers much better straightness and more accurate sizing compared to Latvian-graded stock. It might seem like a small detail until you’re actually on the tools trying to lay it!
