Our first job of the year completed last week, an absolute transformation of a room! What was originally supposed to be 3 ceiling replacements, quickly turned into a single re-structure due to rotten, unstable ceiling joists, and some potential. After a few conversations and material deliveries, work started, and after 8 days, this was the result!

Fully ripped down and cleaned out lath and plaster ceiling, a new stud wall built ontop of the original external wall up into the eaves, celotex and foil tape fitted between all timbers, plasterboard fixed to all timbers and insulated plasterboard dot and dabbed over the external wall, and all new board work 2 coat plastered.

Some work carried out last month on the 3rd story of a lovely property in Mayfield. Plastering over previously filled board work, with a few angles and tricky areas here and there, but a lovely end result all the same.

We’ve recently completed a section of a job that was a little different from most; an old church conversion!

It was a bit of a challenge working around the exposed timbers and odd shapes, but both us and the customer are very happy with the outcome!

Something a little different, spanned over a couple of weekends to keep busy. It was nice to work outside in the summer for a change!

A long overdue update on a “piecemeal” job we are undertaking. The entire house needs renovating, and it’s been a challenge to say the least! It’s nice to look back and see a bit of progress, however, there’s still a lot more to go yet!
