Finally finished this bathroom. Been a big job this one. The old bathroom wasn’t even that old and looked ok on the surface but it wasn’t installed very well as you can see on some of the pictures. Shower had been leaking badly since day one and the tiles were just dabbed with adhesive to the walls and no water proofing at all. Very happy with the end result on this one with the monster tiles!

Just an update on things for any customers that follow this page. In the new year I may have to become VAT registered. This will mean a slight price increase….. not for myself but for the government. I’ve done my best over the last 10 years to stay below the threshold but the rising costs of materials along with everything else is making it very difficult….. Nice boiler change and flush of system over the last couple of days, for a customer whose boiler I’ve looked after for many years. The decision was wisely made to upgrade before winter kicks in. They now have a very efficient upgrade with 10 years warranty.

So at long last this bathroom is finished. Lots of extras added to the whole job including changing the soils pipe and taking a bodged wall down and re building. But what an end result! (Just waiting on the floor fitter to fit the lino and then the shower plinths can go on)
