Big shout-out to Ed the crane operator who was really hands on. Nice and steady on the controls... which were around his neck?! Pictured here with Ollie as they remove the arcade post.🫣

We've been asked to dismantle Edgar's Farmhouse at the Food Museum (formerly Museum of East Anglian Life) in Stowmarket.
This was originally built in nearby Combs Ford in about 1350 and having been dismantled, was rebuilt at the Museum in 1972.
Once we've taken it down it will be stored for a while and then be rebuilt more centrally in the grounds and should give a far better insight into domestic life in 14th century Suffolk.

The team have been busy taking down a barn so that repairs can be made in the workshop over the coming months. 5 days onsite but only 3 1/2 days with a crane and a cherry picker.
After swaying around in the cherry picker it's taken a while for Rick to find his land legs again!🤣
