Evening folks! I’m afraid it’s become necessary to raise the prices of our firewood for the first time in 2 years. I’ve been comparing prices with our competitors this week and it is noticeable how cheap our logs are - particularly compared to the larger companies that deliver to this area. Our stocks of hardwood and mixed logs are not ready to burn yet, but we will have plenty of seasoned logs from around October onwards. The team are busy in the yard every spare hour, processing tonnes of logs into firewood.

We season all of our logs naturally using sunshine and fresh air. We are not using energy to artificially heat and dry our firewood - we have a really small carbon footprint. We pride ourselves on being as sustainable as we can possibly be as a company. We NEVER buy in cordwood or processed logs from other suppliers. All of our logs are taken from trees that have grown locally, then have been felled, processed and naturally air-dried by our own team.

Although we are accredited stockists under the “Ready to Burn” scheme, we can also sell bulk loads of unseasoned logs for you to season at home - 2 cubic metres or more. Why not save money on your firewood for this coming season by ordering logs to season at home? Seasoned Logs are back in stock! We are now taking orders for seasoned firewood, so don’t wait until stocks are low in the Winter before ordering, because you may well miss out.

We have hardwood, softwood and mixed loads available, and also now produce smaller logs for pizza ovens, as well as kindling.

We try to make our whole operation as sustainable as possible, so all of our logs are processed from the trees that we prune or fell for our clients in South Dorset. We never buy in logs from third party suppliers, as these can often come from dubious sources, and have many ‘miles’ associated with them. Shipping containers full of processed logs from Eastern Europe does not sit well with our ethical standards. Our logs are naturally seasoned, never kiln-dried, and none the worse for it!
