🏆 Employer of the Year!

Really proud to share that we’ve been awarded Employer of the Year by Leek College.!!!

Will had the honour of collecting the award and attended the evening with top apprentice, Charlie — who himself was Apprentice of the Month not long ago.

A huge thank you to the team at the college for the nomination and recognition — and an even bigger thank you to Charlie, who puts the effort in every single day. Watching him grow in skill and confidence has been one of the best parts of our business in recent years!

We try our best to give young people real opportunities in the trade — proper hands‑on experience, support when they need it, and the space to push themselves. Whether that’s staying late in the workshop to help with a project, or stepping in to keep another learner’s apprenticeship on track, it’s all part of what we believe in.

We’re committed to investing in the future of joinery, from traditional craftsmanship to modern CNC technology, and it’s great to see that recognised.

Thanks again to everyone involved — it means a lot.

A look back at an Accoya Wood double bay window we completed in Buxton, Derbyshire on this beautiful period home. we used From The Anvil hardware throughout as usual and everything was spray finished in house.😊
The customer came to us needing someone who could work closely with the planning department and the mason, produce detailed drawings for submission and approval, and keep everyone working from the same plan.
I think we hit the mark — and the finished result still speaks for itself

Here’s a look at a recent job for a repeat customer in Cheshire. They wanted new Accoya Wood windows in a Georgian style that stayed true to the original single‑glazed look while adding modern comfort and performance.

We built these three‑tone, high‑performance storm‑proof windows using Tri‑coat multipoint locks and stainless‑steel hardware from From The Anvil to hit that brief, and I think they fit the bill perfectly.

As we were here a few years ago, we also checked over the other windows we installed and made sure everything was still working perfectly 👌
