Traditional brick flooring, individually laid in a herringbone pattern to create a finish packed with character!

And this is just one detail of this project… we can’t wait to share the final photos of the whole transformation. 🔥

A look back at this statement staircase we completed last year. 🙌🏼

A new oak staircase creating access into the games room, finished with oak newel posts and handrails alongside bespoke glass balustrading.

A real feature within the kitchen and one that still looks just as good a year on.

18 years ago today, I started Abbey Gas.

One van, 10 days work ahead of me and no real idea where it would lead.

I did have one mindset though:

We can be beaten on price, but never on service.

18 years later, that hasn’t changed.

Abbey Gas has become Abbey Group. That one van has become a fleet, we now look after over 2,500 service customers, and I’m lucky enough to have a brilliant team around me who’ve helped make the business what it is today.

There have been plenty of ups and downs along the way, and a lot has changed since that first van… but I’m still just as proud when someone chooses Abbey to do a job for them.

A massive thank you to everyone who has worked with us, supported us, recommended us or trusted us in their home or business over the last 18 years.

Looking at these two photos side by side is a bit mad really!!

Old front door removed, new door supplied and installed by Ocean Safe 🚪

Building work completed by ourselves, including new entrance steps finished with grey Indian stone and new block paving to complete the look. 🧱✨
