Doors Open Days in Whithorn at the Old Town Hall, with Whithorn ReBuild. The diathonite on the walls feels so lovely & smooth and it’s so warm inside now! Great to see up close the new sandstone carved for the balustraded parapet!

Dreich day for a survey but archilink_surveys always turn up with a smile and plenty of enthusiasm! Exciting new project so good to get a survey of the existing underway and meet with the clients and engineer - Finite Engineering, for early discussions of potential design ideas and possibilities. Apples in abundance!

Fantastic display of beautiful Douglas Fir outside & in the foyer for all to enjoy at the Dansk Arkitektur Center - DAC - “This is not a Forest”! Love the way they ask you to touch, smell and listen and consider the journey of timber as a sustainable building material. I instantly thought of Whithorn ReBuild and their work with timbers through all the stages!

Thank you to Stranraer and Wigtownshire Free Press for asking me to write a tribute for my dear friend Janice Houghton-Wallace, she had such an amazing life and was a remarkable lady. May she rest in peace, we’ll miss her, and will always remember her fondly. 🙏🏻 ❤️
