Something a little different for us here, it's nice to be able to advise clients and let them make informed choices. This is an ancient Germanic technique called Hügelkultur. Basically using decaying wood to help feed crops with vital nutrients. We also infilled these planters with a mix of topsoil and compost all ready to plant up this season.

Just a small job this last week, to remove 30 odd leylandii and replace with a new 20m fence. All posts installed at 3ft depth ( even though that meant breaking through 2.5 ft of concrete for every post) then big rails , boards and capping. All boards screwed into oversize rails, no nails in the whole job, customer extremely happy.
