Sometimes there’s just no option.

This holly in Canterbury was causing damage to a listed wall as well as underground infrastructure in a conservation area.

We handled the process from start to finish — LPA notice submitted, the tree visited twice prior to removal to check for nesting bird activity, and neighbours liaised with for access and parking.

Job completed smoothly and without any hassle.

If you’ve got something similar, happy to take a look.

Working at The Precincts in the grounds of Canterbury Cathedral on some conservation area pruning to a mature Mulberry causing damage to a historic wall. What a beautiful place to be, surrounded by amazing architecture and some incredible trees. Quite possibly the largest Magnolia Max and I have ever seen - easily 15m tall and GIRTHY at the base. Go and take a look next time you’re in Canterbury.

“Really understood their trees.”

Nice feedback from a job in Faversham.

Every garden’s different — different species, different layouts, different expectations.

Taking the time to understand that properly is what makes the end result look right.

This sweet chestnut had become a little too close for comfort over the house.

Aside from the obvious overhang, the canopy was contributing to blocked guttering and increasing the chances of squirrels accessing the roof space — something we’re seeing more and more on heavily overhung properties.

As the tree was protected, we handled the TPO application before carrying out a careful reduction to improve clearance while still retaining the tree sympathetically.

Always happy to talk through similar situations.

We’ve been looking after the trees at this Whitstable property for over 10 years now.

That kind of relationship comes from doing the basics properly — turning up, giving straightforward advice, and leaving everything tidy every time.

It’s the same approach we take on all our jobs, big or small.

Doing the basics properly and sticking to it.

Really appreciate the continued trust.

Always happy to talk through similar situations.

A recent project at the Junior School involved the removal of a heavily decayed poplar pollard close to school buildings and the Pre-Prep playground, alongside storm damage works and the removal of a large dead main stem from a mature willow pollard near the playing field.

With the site located within a Conservation Area, all required notice submissions were managed before works began.

Works were scheduled during the school term break and completed using a MEWP to ensure safe access and full compliance with Working at Height Regulations.

How time flies. This day 15 years ago here I am, felling a dead Douglas Fir at on a crucial safety works contract. At this point I was already 14years into my career! To further cement my feeling of being old, whilst my daughter has just landed in Marbs for the bank holiday weekend of excess, my wife and I are planning our campervan roadtrip around Suffolk - oh how things change.

“Hedgetrimming, cutting back and reducing across the whole garden.”

Nice feedback from a job in Whitstable.

This wasn’t our typical scope — more of a full garden tidy across hedges, trees and everything in between — but the client wanted someone they trusted to carry it out for their vulnerable father.

We went through everything properly, got it done how they wanted, and left it clean and tidy.

Works were carried out following detailed arboricultural surveys, identifying trees affected by ash dieback along with other structural issues.

With the entire site covered by a blanket TPO, careful planning was required to ensure all works were fully compliant.

Adapting to site conditions while maintaining safety and efficiency was key throughout the project.

All works were carried out following detailed tree surveys, identifying dead, dangerous and declining trees across multiple estate locations.

We managed TPO applications, liaised with the local authority, and coordinated works to ensure full compliance throughout.

A structured approach like this ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
