We're proud that our YTL Construction Office & Welfare Refurbishment project has been named Best Temporary Building Project – Construction at the Modern Methods of Construction Awards.

The project saw 58 existing modular units transformed into a modern office and welfare facility, giving previously stored accommodation a new lease of life rather than manufacturing new.

The judges described the project as:
"A perfect showcase of one of the greatest benefits of modular construction, providing clear evidence of its positive impact on the circular economy."

By refurbishing and reusing existing modular buildings, the project delivered an estimated 249.26 tCO₂ saving, demonstrating how high-quality accommodation and sustainability can go hand in hand.

A fantastic achievement for everyone involved and a great example of what can be achieved through refurbishment, reuse and circular construction.
