Hello hello! For my first post of the new year I've got a little throwback to a few months ago, I meant to post this at the time but life moved on and I had forgotten to show you all.
So a little back story on this one.
I met a guy called Tom last year who had bought a large plot of land in a forest just up the road from me, he teaches a lot of outdoors activities and runs a forest school all about camping, making fires, and other wilderness and survival techniques (I attended one of these classes and loved it).
Fast forward about a couple of months later and I noticed that Tom had posted in our local community group again saying that somebody had destroyed the bug hotel that he made for the forest school! I immediately messaged him and said that I would build him a new one and bring it to the forest.
Anyway here is the result below, it ended up being a bit bigger than I'd expected but I thought it could make for a good log storage alongside being a bug hotel too π
Shout out to Aaron for helping me get it to him, it was 2 inches too wide to fit in my car π€¦ββοΈ
This build was created using reclaimed boards and a few 2x4 beams for the frame, hopefully it will last a long time πͺ΅πͺ
