Here's a throw back to last August that I forgot to post.
The little ones wanted some traffic lights for their monster trucks, so using just a few scrap pieces of offcuts I was able to make these two. I was also requested to make the lights themselves removable which I was able to do by cutting discs out, getting the boys to paint them and used velcro pads to stick them to the post πŸͺ΅πŸͺš

A nice little boxing in job done today, this one was built with Plywood, angle brackets and a couple of 3x2 beams for support at the top.
There was some awkward positions that I had to twist and turn in to get the brackets inside, but that's where my Yoga practice comes in handy πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚
(All of the photos were taken before I out the hinges on at the end apart from one, so excuse the door not being perfectly lined up πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ)
All in all I was very happy with the outcome, it was clean cut, tidy and precise πŸͺ΅πŸͺš

What have I been up to this morning?
I have replaced an old plywood door on a cubby hole with a freshly painted, custom made MDF one and installed a pencil round skirting board along the bottom (also with painting).

Using 9mm MDF I cut the door to size along with some 100mm strips for a "Shaker-style" border and some 30mm strips for a frame, finally I attached the handle and used a couple of small hinges that I sprayed black to attach to the front to match the colour theme.

Check out these before and after photos πŸͺ΅πŸͺš

Little bit late posting this one from Valentines Day.
This was an idea that I had back in December and decided that my test would be to build it for Valentines Day and then offer it on my online shop for others to buy, fully customisable with any background you like and any photo of yourself or others, lights, message plaque and rope are also optional as well as size.

All in all I'm quite proud of this one ❀️πŸͺ΅πŸͺš

Hey everyone! It's been a busy few weeks between college assessments, carpentry jobs and plastering jobs. Anyway here's a beaded shaker wall panelling job that I did yesterday using 10mm MDF boards and Torus style beading, a little bit challenging to find the correct angles going up the stairs but very satisfying getting the pieces to fit together perfectly. This should look lovely once painted over πŸͺ΅πŸͺš

Hello hello! For my first post of the new year I've got a little throwback to a few months ago, I meant to post this at the time but life moved on and I had forgotten to show you all.

So a little back story on this one.
I met a guy called Tom last year who had bought a large plot of land in a forest just up the road from me, he teaches a lot of outdoors activities and runs a forest school all about camping, making fires, and other wilderness and survival techniques (I attended one of these classes and loved it).
Fast forward about a couple of months later and I noticed that Tom had posted in our local community group again saying that somebody had destroyed the bug hotel that he made for the forest school! I immediately messaged him and said that I would build him a new one and bring it to the forest.

Anyway here is the result below, it ended up being a bit bigger than I'd expected but I thought it could make for a good log storage alongside being a bug hotel too πŸ˜… Shout out to Aaron for helping me get it to him, it was 2 inches too wide to fit in my car πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

This build was created using reclaimed boards and a few 2x4 beams for the frame, hopefully it will last a long time πŸͺ΅πŸͺš

A massive Happy New Year to all of my supporters and followers, I appreciate every one of you. Here's a little collage of some of the work that I did this past year (There's even a couple of builds on there that i've not posted yet). Hopefully 2026 will bring more builds, more inspiration and more of my little ideas being brought to life πŸͺ΅πŸͺš

P.s. Please could anybody that I have worked for or built anything for leave me a review on here, I have to get my rating up to unlock a better reach for my posts πŸ™
