Specialist Piling and Groundwork contractor
At 1st base we have been involved in supplying services and material for the construction industry for 20 years originally starting with the supply of ready mixed concrete, we quickly moved into the piling and groundwork space. our aim to provide efficient and cost effective solutions when called upon. After spending 15 years growing our knowledge and equipment, we recently made the decision to focus solely on Piling and Groundworks. We currently offer various types of piling and groundworks via our own machinery and staff, we do not sub-contract any works out, and have a easily reachable chain of contact from pricing - design - completion. Current owned plant includes a purpose built tracked piling rig (6 tonne) for 150mm - 323mm diameter bottom driving piles, P130 Grundomats / moles, hand held for limited access sites (underpins, conservatories, extensions, retaining walls), run by 130 cfm compressors. We mainly serve trade and private customers and offer to beat any like for like quote.
