Did you know our owner David is the only qualified chimney sweep in Wigan, Liverpool, Manchester and Stockport who also runs his own HETAS approved training centre?

David started Mr Soot a decade ago and, in 2023, expanded by opening Mr Soot Training Centre.

He’s also a columnist for Fireplace Specialist Magazine, a mentor to trades business owners and was recently invited onto an international panel of chimney experts to look at helping raise standards in the USA.
