𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗟𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

Although the flat roof design was relatively straightforward, the Technology Campus redevelopment presented a series of intricate challenges that required meticulous planning and expert delivery.

High-rise fire safety requirements - a non-combustible roofing and parapet system was essential to meet stringent high-rise regulations.

Working at height with restricted access - without external scaffolding, operatives installed parapet waterproofing using safety harnesses and running lines.

Weather and programme pressure - high winds, frequent rainfall and external façade delays tightened the schedule.

Leigh, South Regional Business Manager for our Merchants & Distribution team, surpassed 20 years at IKO 👏

Mark, who also works in our Merchants & Distribution team as National Accounts Manager, hit the 10 year mark 👏

As part of , our Engineering Manager Ray Pierce, Manufacturing Manager Jon Jennings, and HR Manager Paula Leigh attended the Festival of Engineering and Construction at Wigan & Leigh College.

It was fantastic to meet so many motivated students exploring careers in engineering and construction, whether they're considering an apprenticeship or planning their next step into full-time employment 👣

Apprentices have played and continue to play a vital role at IKO PLC, and we continue to see progression and success year after year.
