One Run. One Cause. £962 Raised.

Earlier this year, our friend Jeanio took on the Retford Half Marathon in support of Bassetlaw Hospice.

Not only did he complete the challenge, but he also crossed the finish line in under 2 hours, a fantastic achievement for a great cause.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who donated and supported the fundraiser, an incredible £962 was raised to help the vital work carried out by the hospice.

We were proud to support the fundraising effort by helping with promotion, designing the running shirt, and making a contribution towards the total raised.

A huge congratulations to Jeanio on completing the challenge and a sincere thank you to everyone who donated.

From brief to blueprint and now to build. 🏗️
This terraced home in Wigan is getting a single storey rear extension. A new bathroom and an internal sitting area — designed, drawn, and built under permitted development rights.
No planning application needed. We handled the drawings and got the build started.

🏗️ What Are Building Regulations & Building Control? 🤔📐

Building Regulations are rules that ensure buildings are safe, energy-efficient, and structurally sound. They cover things like:
✅ Fire safety 🔥🚪
✅ Structural stability 🏗️
✅ Insulation & energy efficiency 🌍💡
✅ Ventilation & drainage 🚿💨

Building Control is the process of checking that your project meets these regulations. This can be done by your local council or an approved private inspector. They’ll review your plans and visit the site to make sure everything is built correctly! 👷‍♂️✅
