Bought this 2nd hand machine today a guy bought it after Christmas used it 1 time and packed it away managed to buy it for £80 with book and test pieces and here is my first go it's slot better than the old soldering iron

Well bit the bullet last week and bought the pro edge deluxe sharpening system as I'm sick of trying to get the same sharpening all the time well with this bit of kit it's well worth the money it is expensive and the extra jigs are expensive too but you pay for quality. Found the worst chisel I could and within minutes it was as good as new

I bought this 2nd hand Stanley 220 block plane last week from a shed clearance it was rusted up but salvageable with a bit of graft it came with original box too any way sanded and wire brushed it but didn't want to loose much of the character of the plane flattened the back of the blade and sharpened the edge and it's a dream to use worth the £8 I bought it for

Been a little busy today doing something else I used to love to do so knocked up some treats for over the weekend made a batch of Welsh cakes a loaf of fresh white Bread some chocolate cookies and a vanilla custard magic cake found the recipe on Google

Been working on these knife blanks I got from buy adding my
Own scales one is iroko,one is sapele and one is a resin blank I made many months ago with resin ribbon inside think they turned out really good just need some more tools and gouges now

Made this wind chime for our garden just using up some bits of scrap only money it cost was £4 for chain from the wood are offcuts from various older projects and the orange resin clanger is actually a small little dish I turned ages ago and just threw it to one side the hooks I already had in stock was a fun little project

Ordered these the other day from and took delivery of them today I got 3 blanks to add my own handles and a mora and opinel no8 and I have to say they are extremely sharp straight out the box and can carve straight away so gonna be trying my hand at wood carving just need some gouges and scoops now

Been working on this Dutch windmill on and of for a few days it stands around 2ft tall and spins quite nicely in the wind make a nice little addition to the garden
