We are currently looking for an experienced fire and security install engineer to join our team within Cumbria.

➡️ Salary up to £42,000 (dependent on experience)

➡️ Door-to-door travel paid

➡️ 40-hour working week - 8am to 4:30pm on site

➡️ 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

➡️ Company vehicle with personal use

➡️ Call-out rota: 1 in 7 weeks

➡️ £190 standby payment

➡️ Regular overtime available

Ongoing training and career development

🔧 The Role

The successful engineer will be responsible for the installation of fire and security systems across commercial and residential sites.

Systems include:

⛏️Fire alarm systems

⛏️Intruder alarms

⛏️CCTV

⛏️Access control

You will be expected to complete installations to a high standard, working to current regulations and company procedures.

🧠 Requirements

✅Proven experience installing fire and security systems

✅Good all-round knowledge across installation disciplines (essential)

✅Electrical background desirable but not essential

✅Ability to work independently and manage workloads

✅Strong attention to detail and professionalism on site

✅Full UK driving licence

Fire & Security Systems Apprentice Engineer Vacancy

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard working individual willing to learn to join our team based in Wigton. This is a brilliant opportunity for the right person to apply themselves and secure a long term career within the Fire & Security industry in the local area.

Qualifications required are GCSE Grades A-C / 4-9 in English and Maths to qualify for the apprenticeship course.

Main Duties include:

Installation of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control & Fire Alarm Systems.
Assisting company engineers with their duties.
